Happy Friday church family!

What a beautiful warm morning – sun shining and birds singing! The snow is melting and, while we know we’ve got a few colder days left for us, the signs of Spring and new life will soon be around us. The same is true for the church’s calendar. The celebration of the Resurrection at Easter will be here before we know it. It’s a perfect time of year to celebrate the New Life that we can have in Jesus if we put our faith in Him!

As we make the turn toward Easter, I have been reminded this week how determined Jesus was in His mission here on earth. All that Jesus did, He did with purpose – He made every action and decision with a heart of obedience to the Father’s plan. He declared in John 5 that He did nothing on His own, but only followed the Father. I pray that we would all have that same conviction as we follow Him!
