Happy Friday church family!

What a beautiful day and a beautiful week it has been! At the Gorden farmstead, we have been focused on preparations – preparing for the change in season, preparing for upcoming hunting season, and preparing for getting more home projects done. I know that this weather won’t last forever!

At the church, we have been preparing as well – preparing for all our Fall activities. We’re getting back into the swing of things with some that we’ve done for years and years, like Awana. And this Fall we’re restarting some after a few years off. I am excited to have some details for you all this weekend. On Sunday, we’ll hear from Amy Gorden and Cindi Dietrich about a Women’s Bible Study beginning on October 14th – it’ll be an 8-week video study on the Names of God. Sign-ups the next two weeks.

We will also be having a home group starting in the next few weeks – more details and a sign-up will be available next Sunday. Additionally, I am inviting any in the church to meet on Tuesday mornings at 8:30 am for a time of prayer beginning on October 6th. We will pray over the needs of the church, and members of congregation. We’ll also pray for any prayer requests that came in that week or on the prayer cards, and also anything that is brought up that morning. Prayer is one of the most important things we can do as a Christian! Please join me as you are able. Even if you can’t join in person, join us in spirit Tuesday mornings at 8:30!
